Our poetry editors – collaboratively editing your poems or book of poetry

We specialise in editing poetry – either individual poems, or a manuscript intended to be self-published as a book of poetry. We edit poetry collaboratively with the poet via Zoom, Track Changes in Word and/or other collaborative platforms. We have three very experienced poetry editors on our team as follows.

Sally-Anne – owner/operator

Writer coach Sally-Anne

Sally-Anne is a professional member and registered mentor with Institute of Professional Editors (IPEd). She is highly experienced in editing poetry, in addition to editing memoirs and other publications – structural and developmental editing, copy editing and proofreading.  She produces self-published poetry books. She specialises in working with poets on their poetry, via Zoom and/or Track Changes – a combination of developmental poetry editing and coaching in self-editing poetry. She also coaches poets in how to copy edit (fine tune) their poems, looking at meter, “jarring” words, cliches or expected words or rhymes, enjambment, stanza breaks and other aspects of a poem or compilation of poems. Sally-Anne has extensive experience coaching people who are neurodivergent or have disabilities in writing and self-editing their poetry. Sally-Anne lives in Gippsland (VIC).
