Blurb/summary:

Monty Richard Leverson (1830-1925) was born into a highly respectable, upper-middle class Jewish family in Bloomsbury. He was one of the most flamboyant and remarkable figures to come out of England during the Victorian era. During a colourful series of adventures from the 1840s to the 1890s, he was, in turn, a radical idealist, an ethically challenged lawyer, the black sheep of his family, and a quixotic champion of eccentric causes.
