Where to go in Gippsland? The Enchanted Forest.

I went to a fantastic art exhibition which opened today at Yarragon Railway Station gallery: The Enchanted Forest.

This exhibition showcases a huge range of original artworks in felt, paint, ink, ceramic and other media:

owls made of felt and painted and owls that call through the night when you press a button…

nature seen through the magical mirror of art…

Fluffy kittens, puppies, pets

human-made constructions seen through an artistic lens…

home sweet home…

an enchanted ‘Hobbit’s Cave’ (which you really have to experience first-hand to find out how enchanting it is)…

and many other artistic creations from tiny to massive.

It’s a fantastic place to visit with your kids (especially the hobbit’s cave) and/or buy Chrissie presents: items priced from $12 upwards.

The exhibition is sponsored by VLine and Baw Baw Arts Alliance, and is open from 10.30 am to 4 pm, Wednesdays to Sundays, until 27th January 2019.
