What’s on in September 2023

What projects and jobs are we managing this month? Coaching NDIS clients and other writers. Editing manuscripts. Typing transcripts and documents. Producing self-published books. For example:

• Continuing regular one-on-one writing coaching for three NDIS participant clients in writing and refining their life stories and fictional stories.
• Coaching 3 separate Gippsland clients in writing: a) East Gippsland client in report-writing, b) two West Gippsland clients in self-editing their memoir.
• Initial stages of editing a combination art + poetry book, which we will assist the author in self-publishing. (Client: Bendigo VIC).
• Continuing preliminary stage of producing self-published book for our client: documenting oral stories by the client storyteller and family members about his family history and own life. (Client: Torres Strait Islander, Darwin NT.)
• Ongoing mentoring of writers who are self-editing their manuscripts, in Cairns FNQ, Geelong VIC, and Perth WA.
• Ongoing work on an oral history project based in Darwin NT.
• Ongoing transcript production for a range of clients.
• Irregular typing handwritten manuscripts for clients, as the need arises.
