Happy New Financial Year 2025-26!

Another EOFY has come and gone with its usual decisions about whether to buy that thing that you need now or let the new financial year roll over before you buy it. Tbh that is just about the extent of my financial planning. I’m a wordsmith not a numbersmith. Thank goodness for Quickbooks reports.

I invite you all to join me in waving the 2024-35 financial year goodbye and welcoming in the new financial year. Hopefully this will be a financial year of lower costs, which will help us all out regardless of whether or not we run a business. I am sure it will be a year of surprises (as one thing is never a surprise: that there will be a lot of surprises along the way, as there always are) but I do hope that this year they are nice surprises and not too expensive.
