Unconscious bias in editing – and how to do your best to ensure it doesn’t happen

I have just attended (listened to and watched) the following webinar:

• The decolonised editor: unconscious bias, representative publishing, and a way forward for editorial best practice, by Dr Radhiah Chowdhury (webinar presented and recorded 6.10.20).

It was a thought-provoking and instructive webinar and has added to my understanding of how to be an editor who is aware of their unconscious bias and who takes steps to ensure they do not allow that bias to affect their editing.
