Welcome to Meg: minute-taking, scribing and reporting in Darwin

We are thrilled to announce a new scribe/writer has joined our team of typists and report-writers: Meg Friel, a locally born and bred Aboriginal woman who lives in Palmerston, Northern Territory.

Meg has high-level writing skills, reflecting her qualifications (Bachelor of Jurisprudence and Master of Education) and very extensive experience in writing and editing reports, including selection panel reports and minutes of meetings, in Darwin. She also has over 30 years’ experience in Aboriginal adult education in both vocational education and training, and higher education; and 13 years’ senior management experience within the NT Public Sector.

As an On Time Typing, Editing and Proofreading contractor, Meg will be:

  • scribing minutes and reports on site in Darwin,
  • writing selection reports on site in Darwin, and
  • consulting with local people and documenting their stories, as part of  our Northern Territory oral history and life stories publication projects.

Meg is well-versed in maintaining confidentiality and working with highly sensitive information and, like all our team members, has signed a  strict confidentiality agreement with On Time Typing, Editing and Proofreading.

We warmly welcome Meg to our team, and look forward to a productive and very collaborative working relationship with her over the coming months and into the future.
