New writer coach for NDIS participants – Introducing Kyla-Jayne
We would like to welcome to our team our newest writer and self-editing coach, and editor, Kyla-Jayne (KJ) Rajah, who lives on the Mornington Peninsula.
KJ is an experienced book editor and coach. She has 15 years’ experience in editing memoir, life story, poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and children’s books. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature, Advanced Diploma in Creative Writing, and Diploma in Editing, Proofreading and Publishing; and is currently studying a Diploma in Mental Health. She is a professional member of Institute of Professional Editors.
As a coach, KJ brings a gentle and nurturing approach to working with authors that inspires them to meet their goals and engage in creative thinking and writing. She has worked with writers who face writing challenges including dyslexia and neurodiversity, English as a second language, and cultural differences. She will be working with our NDIS and other clients to support them in building their capacity in relation to improving their written communication, including self-editing.
We look forward to collaborating and working closely with KJ to provide the best possible coaching and editing services to our clients.
