Holidays for two weeks, restarting 9 January 2023 – and what’s on in Jan-Feb 2023

Merry Christmas everyone.

Closed for holidays – reopening 9 January 2023

We are closing (going completely offline) from later today 24 December 2022 until 9 January 2023. If you need us during that time, we will take telephone bookings for tasks that can wait until after 9 January. We will not respond to any emails during the holiday period; however if you email us during this time, we will respond on 9-10 January.

Upon our return we have a large number of bookings and will be utilising our tight-knit typing, editing and self-publishing team to provide those services.

Projects scheduled for January-March 2023 (so far) are:

  1. A life stories publication project in respect to a local Northern Territory Indigenous man, whose oral history stories we will be recording face to face. Then, over following months, we will be compiling and producing his book.
  2. Completion of publication process for Sally-Anne’s upcoming poetry book, produced jointly by co-authors Sally-Anne, Delia and Seamus, with the book to be printed and self-published (hopefully) in February 2023.
  3. Commencement of our next two self-publishing projects for our longterm client Shirley Reynolds: a) reprint of her 2022 book The Dark Door; and b) working with Shirley to compile and produce her next family collection which she will again self-publish.
  4. Continuation of our coaching-in-writing-and-self-editing work with our NDIS client based in Perth WA, assisting him to write, edit and produce his upcoming book of inter-related short stories, presented in such a way that it  showcases and exhibits his art.
  5. Continuation of our current editing task which is the copy editing of a memoir/local history based in remote Northern Territory; this project should be completed by February/March 2023.
  6. Continuation of our ongoing scribing selection reports work for Northern Territory Government departments, which at the moment is mainly producing selection reports for the NT Department of Education.  Our two scribes and typists in Darwin complete a good deal of the work, overseen by report writer-editor Sally-Anne.
  7. Continuation of our typing and transcription services.

If you would like any typing done, or need someone to type while you speak,  write your reports, produce transcripts, or work with you to produce your memoir or life story,  please give us a ring any time during our holiday break, or wait until 9 January 2023 and then either email or phone us. Our contact details are here.

All the best everyone and I look forward to hearing from you in 2023.
