Welcome to Lu, our new writing coach

We are excited to welcome Lu Sexton to our coaching and editing team.
Lu, who identifies as LGBTQI+, lives in Daylesford, Central Victoria. She has been editing since 2012 and coaching since 2019. She has taught editing courses with RMIT, and is currently coaching a client who is neurodivergent in writing and self-editing, including plotting and structuring a novel.
Lu has a background in theatre, music, arts development and community engagement. She holds a Diploma of Professional Writing and Editing from RMIT, and engages in ongoing professional development around cultural sensitivity and working with neurodiverse writers. She is an Accredited Editor with Institute of Professional Editors Ltd (IPEd).
Coaching expertise: six years’ experience in coaching writers in developmental and structural editing and self-editing memoir and fiction (various genres).
Editing expertise: thirteen years’ experience in developmental and structural editing and copy editing of memoir and fiction (various genres).
