Thank you Darwin!

Thank you Darwin!

I have just returned from a week-long trip to Darwin where I:

  • Attended Northern Territory Government's Merit Selection Report Training course
  • Interviewed potential contractors for the On Time Typing NT Scribe position
  • Caught up with clients, colleagues, friends and family in and around Darwin, and
  • Swam and played at Berry Springs, Darwin's Waterfront Wave Pool and Fannie Bay beaches, and ate seafood at various places including Dinah Beach Yacht Club.

I'm now back in my main office (and home) in Gippsland and ready to launch back into 'work as usual' tomorrow.

Thank you to all my friends and colleagues for meeting up with me in Darwin and down the track, and a big thank you to all you Darwinites for being so welcoming and friendly throughout my stay. You have reminded me that Darwin is indeed the friendliest, most relaxed and (for me) the most culturally fascinating city in the world.
